SUNDAY MORNINGS

What can you expect on a Sunday morning at ICC?  Our worship celebration begins shortly after 11:00 a.m.  We sing songs of worship to God and often include video clips as a way to explain Christianity or to celebrate the ICC family life.

Once a month, we commemorate the Lord's Supper, also known as "communion," at 10:30 before the worship time. We have an open invitation to communion for all believers in Jesus Christ. If you want to have an email reminder, don't hesitate to contact us.

After the worship time, we visit over refreshments. When Pastor Bill calls us back together, the children proceed to their classes, and he gives the teaching time from the Word of God, supported by a visual PowerPoint to aid our English learners who are new to the Bible or new to oral English.

HOSPITALITY

ICC becomes our family away from home, as we share meals, field trips, and practical needs. Not only are American holidays a time to share pot-luck meals, Pastor Bill hosts large pork-roasts and picnics throughout the year. Looking for furniture, household items, or ready to purchase a vehicle? We can point you in the right direction for many of the needs that come up with owning a car. Let us know how we can be of service to you!

ICC & Friends

ICC And FRIENDS

Throughout the year, the ICC family meets for recreation, meals, and site-seeing. These are great opportunities to bring our international friends to learn the culture of the US and in particular, Missouri. Annual family camp provides an environment to bond together over cooking, basketball, recreation, Bible study, crafts and evening.

Sunday KIDS CLASS

Each Sunday of the year, regardless of the MU school schedule, we meet for worship and study, worship begins at 11:00 a.m. with a time of refreshment to follow. When Pastor Bill calls us back for the teaching time, the children meet their English-speaking teachers as follows:

Grade K to Grade 6

MEN

Besides the weekly Men's Bible Discussion on Tuesdays at 5:30 pm, the men meet for a full day of fellowship in the great outdoors each spring. On June  3rd we will have our retreat called "Men in the Woods" Pastor George Tluanga from the Burmese church in Columbia will lead our discussion on God's creation and how we are stewards of God's creation.

WOMEN

Women need each other for support and encouragement. In this vein, ICC seeks to have a balance of women's Bible studies, small groups and 1-on-1 studies throughout the year. Whether you have been a Christian a long time or just learning about faith in Jesus Christ, we invite you to join in. Don't let lack of knowledge hinder you from discovering all that God has provided through relationships and His Word.

Friendship SEWING

We can't even name all the skills we have learned through the years by attending Friendship Sewing class. Our teacher Helen guides us through each project, and volunteers sit by your side to teach you how to sew. What more can we ask?  Actually, a fee of $2.00 is requested for each class session.

RETREATS

Midwinter and summer, the women get together in a peaceful location to get to know each other deeply while learning how the Lord Jesus is near to them. Special activities, walks, and new skills are often added to the overnight event.
